Buy low, sell high: finding fantasy players due to bounce back

A buy low is a player whose role is better than his points: lots of targets, carries, snaps and red zone looks, but not much scoring yet. That gap tends to close. A sell high is the reverse, a player scoring well past what his usage usually produces. Dibz finds both every week from the usage numbers.

Usage is the signal

Points swing with touchdowns and big plays. Targets, carries and snaps are steadier. Dibz works out what each player’s role is usually worth in fantasy points and compares it with what he has actually scored.

Graded every week

The lists are saved before kickoff and graded after the games against similar players who were not picked, so you can see whether buying low has actually paid off.

Fresh every Tuesday

Roles change on Sundays. The lists close while the week’s games are played and open again on Tuesday with the new numbers.
